The Spring & Summer wedding

These take place between April and August, the busiest time in the wedding calendar. Such a wedding needs to be booked way in advance due to the hordes of couples dying to tie the knot at this peak period. If you’re lucky enough to marry in such beautiful weather as is provided between April and August, there is no sane reason to do it indoors.
When people think of the Spring-Summer wedding, they envision an expanse of fresh green lawns and their flora. There’s no need to go overboard on decoration since people will focus on the natural beauty of the location you choose.
To further complement the scenery pick pastel or dusky shades in the spring and more vibrant colours in the summer. Having hot and sweaty bridesmaids is pretty nasty so choose lightweight fabrics such as chiffon, crepe, organza, silk and linen. Adorn your tables and bridesmaids with the flowers that are abundant in each season. While spring will bring you a cornucopia of bluebells, tulips and hyacinths, summer will show-off its cornflowers, roses and giant daisies.
Things you have to be aware of though, in this season though are the escalated prices and the heat. Avoid heaty fare on the menu and provide your guests with plenty of cooling refreshments. While a sweaty noon disco won’t go over too well, guests will enjoy dancing under the stars. Summer does not come with a ‘no rain guarantee’ and you’re strongly advised to have a backup venue and umbrellas to avoid your day running like rain, into the gutter.
